THE INTERNATIONAL JEWISH TENNIS CAMP

Get ready for loads of fun!

This program was created from the desire to combine the best qualified tennis coaches with the possibility to learn English in a kosher international and stimulating jewish environment.

 

Play Kosher will propose indoor and outdoor educational activities supported by experienced counselors some of them native English speakers.

 

The program aims to promote 10 days of fun and learning while meeting new friends from around the world in a safe jewish environmnet.

 

Our goal is for kids and teens to gain self confidence and team confidence and to develop empathy and leadership skills, inside a supportive and fun athmosphere.

 

We will encourage sportsmanship and mutual respect in order to forge lifelong friendships and endless memories.

 

All activities will be divided by age group.

LOCATION

Crans Montana, 1.500mt above sea level the “pearl” of the Swiss Alps, in Canton Vallais, Switzerland, will welcome you in his unique sun kissed plateau.

 

Located 2 hours drive from the International Airport of Geneva, and 3 hours drive from The international airport of Milano Malpensa.

Our residence-hotel, located in the center of the village,  will be completely privatized for our group only!

HOW TO GET THERE

 

STAFF

All our staff is highly experienced and trained.

Most of our madrihim have already worked for jewish summer camps.

Campers will learn the importance of ethic values and mutual respect in practice and competition through modeling and coaching by our devoted staff.

Our counselors will be in charge of 8 to 12 kids depending on the age.

All activities will be devided into age group.

TENNIS

Work hard, play hard!

This sport is the focus of our camp.

 

Through professional coaches our tennis program will provide high level of training and competition, with technical and strategic lessons, supported by video analysis.

 

Campers will play 3 hours of tennis a day, plus 2 hours of Physical training.

We want to ensure that all our athletes are strong, fit and confident in order to play tennis and stay active and healthy.

 

Tennis lessons will be held with maximum 4 player per court

(5 for beginners).

We will also have a specialist with the video analysis in order to make a personalised tennis program for each camper.

 

Whether you are a die-hard tennis enthusiast, a beginner, a true competitor, regardless of your age, you will leave the Academy with long lasting memories. 

 

Through tennis, campers will develop proper character and sportmenship inside and outside the court, they will develop their passion for tennis, "The sport of a lifetime"!

 

ACTIVITIES

Beside Tennis, we ll choose one day for a wonderful excursion in the mountain to discover the beauty of the region.

 

In the evening, we will organize plenty of fun and interesting activities…

Among these, a barbecue and/or pizza&pasta party, talent shows and much more that we won't tell you now!!

GENERAL INFORMATIONS

-  SYNAGOGUE

A worm kabbalath shabbat and service on Friday evening and Saturday morning will be held in the synagogue finishing with the traditional and emotional Havdalah.

 

- KASHERUT:

under the kasherut of the Jewish community of Milan, Rav. Alfonso Arbib

 

- SHABBAT ATMOSPHERE  

Festive meals, in addition to traditional Shabbat activities, campers have the opportunity to enjoy "old style games" and will be involved in stimulating lectures and discussions on jewish topics and love for Israel.

DATES AND PRICE

6 - 16  JULY 2020

Euro 1.800 p.p.

for the 10 nights,this includes full kosher board, sport instructions, excursions, hikes and all other activities. Bed linen is provided by the Camp.Please bring your own towels.


Not included are: travel to and from Camp, pocket money, accident and illness insurance (proof of insurance must be provided), medical treatment and prescriptions.

 

ACCEPTANCE AND CONDUCT

Play Kosher only accepts boys and girls of outstanding character.

 

It is understood that all campers will conduct themselves in a correct manner and abide by the Camp rules.

 

The Camp Directors reserve the right to send home any camper whose behaviour is, in their opinion, incompatible with Camp life and no refund will be made.

 

Any additional costs incurred will be at the parents’ expense.

 

Health being one of the Camp’s main concerns, campers are not permitted to smoke or drink alcohol.
